\”Knight Rider\” (2008)
We are days away from the premiere of Knight Rider and some promotion is starting to happen. In additions to new TV spots that have been airing on NBC, IESB.net has gotten five exclusive clips and a new poster. Unfortunately none of the clips have Sydney, but I added the poster to the gallery and thought some of you would like to know about these clips anyways.

Continue Reading »Knight Rider, the iconic 1980’s television classic that became a runaway success, returns with a modern day sequel. The two-hour movie event stars Justin Bruening (All My Children), Deanna Russo (The Young and the Restless), Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars, Grindhouse) and Bruce Davison (Breach, Close To Home). In addition, David Hasselhoff (NBC’s America’s Got Talent) — who starred in the popular lead role as Michael Knight for four seasons during the original series’ run – returns as the same character during a special guest-star appearance.
NBC is almost ready to roll out a new Knight Rider two-hour TV movie/backdoor pilot in less than two weeks. Things have run pretty smoothly, except for when Justin Bruening, who plays Mike Traceur (estranged son of Michael Knight), hurt his knee. But it looks like there was at least one other bump for the production, according to SciFi Wire.
Will Arnett was hired to be the voice of K.I.T.T. on the movie, but then a contractual conflict of interest reared its ugly head. Arnett has done voiceover work for General Motors for almost a decade. Oops, that’s a problem considering the new K.I.T.T. is a black 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang and Ford is actually taking a very active role in the marketing of the telefilm.
